Job summary

INTEGRA Biosciences Corp. in Hudson, NH is seeking a Process Automation Engineer (Manufacturing Engineer II) to drive automation on the production floor.

You will design, validate, and deploy automated solutions, fixtures, and workstations to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and cost. You will lead automation projects, work with vendors and system integrators, perform FAT/SAT and IQ/OQ/PQ validation, and contribute to Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement across manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience with manufacturing process development and automation systems.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, PFMEA, process capability analysis, and statistical problem-solving tools.
• Experience managing automation vendors and equipment integration projects.
• Strong project management, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
• Passion for continuous improvement and hands-on engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing performance and lead initiatives that deliver measurable results.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes and implement improvements in safety, quality, efficiency, and cost.
• Design and validate fixtures, tooling, workstations, and error-proofing solutions.
• Develop and deploy automation solutions using pneumatic, electrical, robotic, and machine vision technologies.
• Define equipment requirements, specifications, and statements of work for automation projects.
• Partner with automation suppliers and system integrators from concept through production launch.
• Lead automation projects, managing scope, schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables.
• Execute FAT and SAT, and perform IQ/OQ/PQ validation activities.
• Create validation documentation, risk assessments, SOPs, and work instructions.
