Job summary

OMG Building Products LLC is seeking an engineer to join our process engineering team, focusing on automation and efficiency improvements across production lines at Western Massachusetts facilities.

You will design, test, and deploy automated systems, work with CAE and simulation, and collaborate with manufacturing and R&D to drive breakthroughs in productivity while upholding safety as the top priority.

Responsibilities

• Promote Safety as the Number One Priority of all OMG employees.
• Designs, develops, tests, and implements automated systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Provide support for the integration of these systems with troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Seek out opportunities across the company to lend your technical support.
• Acquire a detailed understanding of the construction applications we serve and the products we market.
• Develop skills in computer modelling, CAE, simulation, rapid prototyping and statistics.
• Communicate in written and oral form that is clear, concise, and tailored to the targeted audience.
• Drive accountability, creativity, and quality across all phases of work
• Attend conferences, trade shows, seminars and classes that expand knowledge - look for technology solutions outside construction.
