Job summary

New Concept Technology Inc. seeks an Automation Engineer to design, develop, and deploy automation systems across manufacturing operations.

You will work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Maintenance to identify optimization opportunities and drive initiatives from concept through implementation. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in automation/controls, experience with PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and vision systems, and strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Qualifications

3+ years in industrial automation or controls engineering.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, program, and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment and systems.
Develop and modify PLC, HMI, robotic, vision, and motion control programs.
Lead automation projects from concept to production launch.
Evaluate processes to increase automation and reduce costs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for new product introductions and process development.
Create and maintain electrical schematics, control system documentation, and procedures.
Analyze equipment performance and drive continuous improvement to reduce downtime.
Support preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Coordinate with vendors during project execution.
Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Train personnel on new automation systems.
Participate in root cause investigations and corrective actions.
