Job summary

Amazon Process Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based at our operating site in Missouri. The position includes a 5+ week training period located more than 50 miles from the home site, with travel arrangements paid by Amazon.

You will track labor hours, assist with production duties, coach associates, and help sustain safe, efficient daily operations while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the area. Starting pay details and overtime opportunities apply from Day 1.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights and holidays.
• Can lift up to 49 pounds and stand for long shifts.
• Work 40 hours per week with overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Track and report ATS/labor hours.
• Occasionally assist with production duties and verify SOP compliance.
• Ensure area performance through metrics tracking and reporting.
• Independently assess associate work performance and provide feedback.
• Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Maintain understanding of workflow and daily production goals.
• Review and update SOPs as required.
• Ensure work areas are clean and properly equipped.
• Identify and address safety hazards and participate in safety initiatives.
• Coach associates on safe work practices.
• Ensure injuries are reported per policies.
• Provide vacation coverage for Area Managers.

Responsibilities

• Identify and address safety hazards within the work area, and participate in safety initiatives
• Coach associates on ways to work safely at all times
• Ensure all job injuries are reported timely in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Provide vacation coverage for Area Managers

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
• High school or equivalent
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree, and/or prior Amazon experience
• Awareness and willingness to use OPEX tools and techniques
• Demonstrates problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) across various levels of an organization
• History of meeting/exceeding departmental goals
• Experience leading teams
• Capable of providing direction to team members using independent judgment
• Organization and time management skills

The starting pay for this position is listed below including the base pay rate and the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, you are eligible for additional earnings including overtime pay and performance bonuses. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
