The Spine & Pain Center in Tulsa, OK is hiring a Prior Authorization & Procedure Coordinator. This role focuses on submitting, tracking, and managing prior authorizations for procedures, imaging, medications, and specialty treatments.

You will coordinate outpatient procedures and scheduling, verify insurance requirements, and communicate with carriers to obtain approvals and resolve denials. A fast-paced healthcare setting and teamwork are essential.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of medical scheduling or insurance authorization experience preferred.
• Experience in pain management, orthopedics, or surgery scheduling is a plus.

Mansioni

• Submit, track, and manage prior authorizations for procedures and imaging.
• Coordinate outpatient procedures and surgery center scheduling.
• Verify insurance eligibility and authorization requirements.
• Communicate with insurance carriers regarding approvals, denials, and appeals.
• Schedule new patients, follow-up and post-procedure appointments.
• Provide patients with pre-procedure instructions and scheduling support.
• Coordinate with providers, medical staff, and billing teams.
• Maintain scheduling and authorization documentation in the EHR system.
• Assist with schedule optimization, cancellations, reschedules and waitlists.
