Aufgaben

• Pre-certify procedures (e.g., facet blocks, epidurals, radiofrequency ablations, spinal cord stimulators).
• Pre-certify diagnostic imaging orders (MRI, CT).
• Pre-certify injectable medications (Botox, Xeomin) and coordinate with specialty pharmacy.
• Review orders with providers to approve and schedule appropriately.
• Document authorization information in computer systems.
• Provide instructions to patients for scheduled procedures.
• Monitor provider schedules for changes and communicate updates.
• Verify insurance eligibility and inform patients of out-of-pocket costs.
• Maintain knowledge of authorization requirements and policy changes.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
