Job summary

Lancaster General Hospital, part of Penn Medicine, is hiring a Full-Time 1st Shift Procedural Supply Sourcing Specialist to ensure timely availability of surgical and procedural supplies. The role focuses on coordinating sourcing, inventory control, and vendor liaison to optimize workflows across Procedural areas and Materials Management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• 2+ years of experience in a medical supply management or warehouse environment (Required).
• 1+ years of experience with software applications such as inventory management, equipment tracking, and bar code systems.
• A health care provider in good standing with Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal and state health insurance programs, i.e. not excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid or any other federal and state health insurance program (Required).
• Associate's degree in business or related medical or supply chain field (Preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in medical supply management (Preferred).
• 1+ years of experience in Lawson inventory ERP application (Preferred).
• Advanced computer skills (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sourcing of materials, supplies and related items; maintain inventory flow and control.
• Act as liaison between vendors, Materials Management and Procedural departments to resolve inventory issues.
• Monitor delivery, recalls, and backorders; communicate status to stakeholders.
• Oversee supply requirements and updates on inventory availability and delivery status.
• Proactively use QSight or similar software for replenishment processes and specialty supplies.
