Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is hiring aProcedural Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy Lab in Rowlett, TX. The role requires nursing judgment to assess patients, develop care plans, and support safe care within the hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Current TX RN license with active ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years PACU, ER or ICU experience.
• Pediatric experience is a plus but not required.

• Monitor patient responses and adjust care as needed.
• Delegate tasks based on Texas nursing laws and staff skills.

Location: BSW Medical Center-Lake Pointe Endoscopy Lab, 6800 Scenic Drive, Rowlett, 75088

Ratio: Endo = pre-op 1:1

Patient Population: Peds, Adult and Geriatric

Hours: PT Days only w/ call requirements | 0800-2000 | Monday-Sunday call requirements. Must be able to respond to hospital within 30 minutes.

As a Procedural Registered Nurse, work as a licensed professional using the nursing practice model to oversee patient care. Responsibilities include assessing patients, identifying nursing diagnoses, and developing personalized care plans. Regularly assess patient responses. Contributions help patients navigate healthcare safely by understanding their needs and the system. This prevents complications and delays.
