Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health – Lake Pointe, Rowlett, TX, is seeking a Procedural Registered Nurse to oversee pediatric and adult patient care in the PACU corridor. The role requires 2 years of PACU experience and a current RN license in Texas, with ACLS/BLS or eligibility within 30 days.

Hours are days with call requirements (07:00-15:30). Expect 1:1 or 1:2 nursing ratios across 8 PACU beds, and benefits include health coverage, retirement match, tuition reimbursement, and PTO from Day 1.

Responsibilities

As a Procedural Registered Nurse, work as a licensed professional using the nursing practice model to oversee patient care. Responsibilities include assessing patients, identifying nursing diagnoses, and developing personalized care plans. Regularly assess patient responses. Contributions help patients navigate healthcare safely by understanding their needs and the system. This prevents complications and delays. Delegate tasks based on Texas nursing laws, patient conditions, and staff skills.
