Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Temple, TX is seeking a Procedural Registered Nurse to oversee patient care within the procedural setting. The role involves nursing assessments, care planning, and coordination of patient care with the health team.

Qualifications

• Accredited nursing program or two years minimum is required for this position.
• A major focus or specialization in Nursing is preferred.
• Ideally some relevant professional experience, though less than one year would suffice.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.

Specialty: Endoscopy

Shift: Full-time, Various Shifts - 10 hour shifts to include 2 late shifts a month

Occasional On-call weekends - Saturday & Sunday every 4-6 weeks

Job Summary

As a Procedural Registered Nurse, work as a licensed professional using the nursing practice model to oversee patient care. Responsibilities include assessing patients, identifying nursing diagnoses, and developing personalized care plans. Regularly assess patient responses. Contributions help patients navigate healthcare safely by understanding their needs and the system. This prevents complications and delays. Delegate tasks based on Texas nursing laws, patient conditions, and staff skills.
