Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health's Endoscopy Lab in Rowlett, TX seeks a Procedural Registered Nurse to oversee patient care using the nursing practice model, including assessing patients and developing care plans.

Responsibilities include delegating tasks, teaching patients and staff, and contributing to quality improvement. Requires TX RN license, ACLS/BLS/PALS, and 2+ years in PACU/ER/ICU; pediatric experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active TX RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years PACU, ER, or ICU experience.
• Pediatric experience is nice to have but not required.
• ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care using the nursing practice model.

• Delegate tasks per Texas law and staff skills.

Location: BSW Medical Center-Lake Pointe Endoscopy Lab, 6800 Scenic Drive, Rowlett, 75088

Ratio: Endo = pre-op 1:1

Patient Population: Peds, Adult and Geriatric

Hours: PT Days only w/ call requirements | 0800-2000 | Monday-Sunday call requirements. Must be able to respond to hospital within 30 minutes.

As a Procedural Registered Nurse, work as a licensed professional using the nursing practice model to oversee patient care. Responsibilities include assessing patients, identifying nursing diagnoses, and developing personalized care plans. Regularly assess patient responses. Contributions help patients navigate healthcare safely by understanding their needs and the system. This prevents complications and delays. Delegate tasks based on Texas nursing laws, patient conditions, and staff skills.
