Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Procedural Registered Nurse to oversee patient care in the Lake Pointe Endoscopy Lab, Rowlett, TX. The role involves responsible nursing practice, patient assessment, and care planning under Texas regulations.

Ideal candidates hold TX RN licensure with ACLS/BLS/PALS and have 2+ years in PACU/ER/ICU; pediatric experience is a bonus. This position is on-site with call requirements and full nursing responsibility for diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

Location: BSW Medical Center-Lake Pointe Endoscopy Lab, 6800 Scenic Drive, Rowlett, 75088

Ratio: Endo = pre-op 1:1

Patient Population: Peds, Adult and Geriatric

Hours: PT Days only w/ call requirements | 0800-2000 | Monday-Sunday call requirements. Must be able to respond to hospital within 30 minutes.

Job Summary

As a Procedural Registered Nurse, work as a licensed professional using the nursing practice model to oversee patient care. Responsibilities include assessing patients, identifying nursing diagnoses, and developing personalized care plans. Regularly assess patient responses. Contributions help patients navigate healthcare safely by understanding their needs and the system. This prevents complications and delays. Delegate tasks based on Texas nursing laws, patient conditions, and staff skills.
