Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care in North Carolina is seeking a Procedural Registered Nurse I to coordinate and deliver patient care in the Cath Lab and interventional radiology settings. You will perform tasks such as moderate sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, pacing, cardioversion, and medication administration.

You will collaborate with physicians and the nursing team to ensure safe, high-quality care and efficient discharge planning, while upholding infection control and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold a North Carolina RN license or compact-state license by start date.
• Two years of acute care RN experience preferred.
• BLS certification required by start date.
• ACLS certification required by start date.

Responsibilities

• Administers patient care under physician supervision and collaborates with the care team.
• Provides care in Cath Lab or interventional radiology settings with appropriate monitoring.
• Organizes and prioritizes care; supports discharge planning and family education.
• Collaborates to improve intra/interdepartmental communication and care coordination.
• Synthesizes data to determine priorities for care and safety needs.
• Communicates care plans with patients and families with cultural sensitivity.
• Promotes clinical/operational excellence through ongoing education.
• Maintains safe, clean hospital environment with infection control practices.
