You will coordinate plan of care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in governance activities within a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications include a BSN (or ongoing plan to obtain), current IL RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• BSN required or equivalent with plan to obtain BSN within 3 years.
• Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Analytical abilities and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for acutely ill patients.
• Direct care and supervise nursing assistants as appropriate.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians and staff to coordinate care.
• Participate in shared governance, committees and unit projects.
• Document patient responses and adjust care plans based on evidence.
• Apply best available evidence to guide clinical decisions.
