Job summary

Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital is seeking an inpatient Staff Nurse. The role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care to acutely ill patients, following the nursing process and ANA standards. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Required BSN and Illinois RN license, BLS certification, and strong interpersonal skills. ADN may be considered with commitment to obtain BSN within three years.

Qualifications

• BSN required; current State of Illinois RN license.
• American Heart Association BLS required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others.
• ADN acceptable with commitment to obtain BSN within three years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data to identify outcomes and develop an individualized care plan.
• Directs care and coordinates use of any assistants involved in patient care.
• Collaborates with patient, family, physicians, and staff; documents care plans focused on outcomes.
• Participates in shared governance and unit projects.
• Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions and updates care plans.
