Job summary

Clearway Pain Solutions is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care in office and ASC settings, and to manage intake, orders, and EMR documentation with confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities include supporting pre-op and recovery, assisting nursing staff with vitals and history, and ensuring patient flow and safety in accordance with HIPAA and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proficiency with Internet and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong customer service.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team, maintaining professional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient intake and provider orders into the EMR and maintain records.
• Assist in pre-op, recovery and transport for discharge.
• Assist with patient forms and confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Conduct rounds in pre-op and recovery to address patient needs.
• Maintain infection control, safety, and OSHA standards.
• Support nursing staff with vital signs, history taking, and documentation.
• Ensure proper room setup, sterile fields, and readiness for procedures.
