Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse in Arkansas to provide direct patient care in the surgical environment, focusing on cardiac, electrophysiology, and related procedures. The role involves continuous communication with physicians, equipment readiness, and collaboration with EP, Specials, and Cardiac Cath Lab teams.

The ideal candidate holds AR RN licensure, preferably a BSN, and has at least 3 years of fast-paced cardiac/EP experience with ACLS and CPR certifications.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in Arkansas (RN)
• BSN preferred but not required
• Minimum 3 years of fast-paced cardiac, electrophysiology, and specials experience
• ACLS and CPR certifications are required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the surgical environment across all patient populations
• Communicate with physicians about patient condition continuously and as needed
• Assist with equipment maintenance and inventory management
• Assess procedure room for equipment readiness and functioning
• Obtain supplies for EP, Specials, and Cardiac Cath Lab teams
• Monitor and position patients during procedures and support team during interventions
• Participate in CQI and performance improvement activities
