Prince William County Criminal Justice Services seeks a motivated Probation/Pretrial Specialist to support public safety and empower individuals to improve their lives. The role requires strong interpersonal skills and experience with supervision, case management, and referrals.

This Evidence Based Practices agency operates in a fast-paced, collaborative setting with some overnight travel; schedule is typically Monday–Friday 8 am–5 pm.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED; minimum 5 years in criminology, psychology, social services, counseling, or related court proceedings/ supervision.
• Bachelor's degree preferred with 5 years of probation/pretrial related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide probation/pretrial supervision and support to individuals under supervision.
• Conduct risk assessments and make referrals based on identified needs.
• Develop 1:1 case plans with follow-up to ensure progress.
• Engage in community supervision and client outreach; maintain accurate documentation.
