Job summary

ND Dept of Corrections and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated professional to support the criminal justice system. The role involves supervising individuals on pretrial supervision, conducting intakes and risk assessments, and creating individualized case plans to promote rehabilitation and accountability.

Strong focus on evidentiary-based practices and ensuring court appearances are met. This position contributes to public safety while assisting clients in desisting from future offenses

Qualifications

• Preferred bachelor's degree, behavioral science, business, education or closely related field.
• Or an associate's degree in behavioral science with two years of work experience in criminal justice.

Responsibilities

• Supervise individuals placed on pretrial supervision, ensuring compliance with court ordered conditions while supporting client rehabilitation.
• Conduct client intakes, risk assessments, and individualized case planning.
• Manage cases rooted in evidenced based practices.
• Help client desist from future criminal behavior and ensure court appearances are adhered to.

Education

Bachelor's degree or Associate degree + two years in criminal justice
