State of Wyoming is seeking a Probation and Parole Agent to supervise adult probationers and parolees, conduct assessments, and develop case plans. The role emphasizes collaboration with courts, treatment providers, and victims to promote accountability and reduce recidivism.

The position involves home, office, and employment visits, cognitive interventions, and reporting to the Parole Board. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and experience in probation and parole settings.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or Administration of Justice.
• 0–2 years of progressive work experience in Adult Probation and Parole with knowledge at Interstate Compact Specialist level; or 3–5 years with that knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise a caseload of adult probationers and parolees, including varied offenses.
• Conduct risk/needs assessments to determine supervision levels.
• Develop individualized case plans and monitor progress toward goals.
• Collaborate with agencies, victims, and treatment providers to support rehabilitation.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for courts and parole authorities.
• Visit clients in office, home, and workplace settings to verify compliance.
