Job summary

State of Oklahoma seeks a Probation and Parole Officer to supervise offenders in the community, assess criminogenic needs, design transition plans, and refer to treatment. You will monitor compliance, help with employment connections, and support re-entry programs to enhance public safety.

Responsibilities include conducting investigations, preparing activity reports, and coordinating with releasing authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Understanding of criminogenic needs and transition planning.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in offender supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage caseloads of adult offenders using motivational interviewing to assess risk/need.
• Refer offenders to treatment programs and monitor progress and compliance.
• Prepare reports and maintain documentation related to offender caseloads.
• Assist in security operations and, when required, arrest and transport offenders.
• Conduct routine drug/alcohol screening for offenders.
