Job summary

Boralex is seeking a skilled Wind Turbine Asset Technician to join our Asset Management Department. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and monitor turbine performance to optimize output and reliability.

You will also mentor junior staff and help refine procedures in a safety‑driven environment. The role emphasizes hands‑on maintenance, quick problem solving, and collaboration with electrical and hydraulic engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the electrical energy environment and hydraulic engineering.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and diagnostics.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to mentor staff and share knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular and unscheduled preventive maintenance of wind turbines.
• Monitor wind turbine performance and diagnose issues.
• Replace motors, fans, cables, sensors and control boards as needed.
• Mentor new staff and contribute to procedural documentation.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and provide effective solutions.
