Job summary

Acwa seeks a Service Technician to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on wind turbines. You will work with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems under supervision, using SCADA and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot faults and report findings.

The role requires following procedures, completing paperwork, and adhering to NOMAC/HSE guidelines. Candidates should have a high school diploma, some wind-energy exposure, and the ability to climb tall turbines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Wind energy certifications preferred.
• 0–2 years in wind energy or related electrical/mechanical field.
• Valid driving license (non-CDL/CDL).
• Able to climb wind turbine towers >100 m and work in nacelles.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily electrical maintenance per schedule and procedures.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of wind turbine systems under supervision.
• Understand and follow drawings, schematics and work procedures.
• Maintain documentation: work orders, service reports, checklists.
• Adhere to safety rules and report incidents per policy.
• Assist with component replacement and heavy equipment operations as required.
• Update maintenance logbooks and support inventory control.
