Job summary

Helsing is expanding its US presence in Washington, DC, seeking an IT Support Specialist to be the face of IT for the DC office and ensure seamless daily operations. You will own the technology footprint, manage hardware, AV setup, and O365 administration, with opportunities for growth as the local IT infrastructure expands.

You thrive as a proactive doer, comfortable working closely with people and hardware, and you will occasionally travel to facilities to support regional IT environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support or service desk environments.
• Solid foundation in Windows and macOS.
• Familiarity with Office 365 admin tools.
• Knowledge of MDM tools such as JAMF/Intune is helpful.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for work.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on IT support to the Washington, DC team as the first point of contact for service desk requests and troubleshooting.
• Manage the lifecycle of hardware, including deploying, configuring, and maintaining Windows and macOS laptops and peripherals.

The role

As we scale our US team in Washington, D.C., we are looking for a nIT Support Specialist to ensure our daily operations run seamlessly. In this role, you will be the face of IT for our growing office—supporting our team directly so they can focus on delivering critical capabilities without technical friction.

This is not a passive or hands-off oversight role; we are looking for a true "do-er" who thrives on solving real-world problems in real time. You are highly proactive, deeply self-motivated, and take immense pride in owning the technology footprint of our office. Because we are scaling rapidly, this position offers significant room for professional growth as you help shape and expand our local IT infrastructure over time.

The day-to-day

• User-Facing Support:Provide direct, hands-on IT support to our D.C. team, serving as the first point of contact for service desk requests and technical troubleshooting.
• Device Management:Manage the lifecycle of our hardware fleet, including deploying, configuring, andmaintainingWindows and macOS laptops and peripherals.
• Office Infrastructure:Maintainand optimize standard office technology setups, including conferenceroom,AV equipment, network printers, and localized connectivity.
• SaaS Operations:Manage user access, licensing, and troubleshooting across our productivity suites, with a focus on Office 365 (O365).
• On-Site Mobility:Whileyou’llbe based in D.C., you will occasionally travel to our operational and test facilities (such as our site in West Virginia) to set up and support localized IT environments.
