Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO in Columbus, OH, is seeking a Sales Development Representative to support the Inside Sales Team. The role focuses on proactive outreach to add field visits and online meetings, coordinating with Field Sales and marketing teams to address customer needs and drive revenue.

Candidates should have at least 1 year in sales or customer service and be comfortable working in our Columbus office near Polaris four days a week. CRM experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, or telemarketing.
• Previous CRM experience preferred.
• Must be available to work in our Columbus office near Polaris 4 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Identify contacts within high-target accounts using outbound prospecting.
• Secure field visits and online meetings for Field Sales Representatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and Field Sales partners.
• Generate and submit qualified leads for sales follow-up.
• Maintain accurate CRM data and update regularly.
• Provide regular updates on business issues, trends and proactive opportunities.
• Staying informed on product lines, service offerings, and internal sales systems.
