Sage Haus LLC. is seeking a Household Manager & Family Assistant in Washington, DC. This part-time role offers 16–20 hours per week with 4-hour shifts, and a compensation range of $30–$35 per hour based on experience.

Start date ASAP. You’ll manage laundry, household systems, errands, pet care, and family support, in collaboration with the live-in nanny and vendors. Ideal candidates are organized, proactive, with strong communication and the ability to work independently in a family environment.

Qualifications

• Reliable personal transportation and mileage reimbursement.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Vaccinations up to date per ACA/CDC guidelines (incl. COVID-19 and flu).
• CPR and First Aid certified, or willingness to obtain.
• Fragrance-free when working in the home.

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle laundry management for the family, including linens.
• Create and maintain household organization systems and daily resets.
• Restock pantry, fridge, and household supplies; manage shopping lists.
• Oversee occasional deep cleans and seasonal organization.
• Provide backup childcare as needed and liaise with the nanny.
• Coordinate cleaners, contractors, and repairs.
• Daily dog walks and pet care as part of shift.
• Schedule vehicle maintenance and manage registration tasks.
• Support shared calendar and proactive appointment reminders.
