Job summary

Spirit Mountain Casino is seeking a Guest Safety Specialist II to ensure the safety and security of guests and employees through proactive, professional service. The role reports to the Assistant Shift Supervisor within Security, part of the Finance division, and requires non-exempt status and a 21+ age minimum.

Responsibilities include on-foot patrols, responding to disturbances, coordinating with dispatch, monitoring alcohol service, and maintaining compliance with gaming regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and two years of safety/security or emergency services experience.
• High security gaming license issued by the Grand Ronde Gaming Commission.
• Valid Driver’s License and eligibility for company insurance.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification and ability to pass required skills tests.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding guest service, answer inquiries, give directions, and support problem solving.
• Patrol venues, investigate disturbances, and enforce policies and laws per procedures.
• Answer calls, dispatch responses, and assign officers to active situations.
• Monitor alcohol service and report concerns to the MOD; identify personnel and vendors entering/exiting.
• Perform funds verifications, table/game drops, and inter-department transports.
• Document incidents and assist in emergency responses; aid with crowd control as needed.
