Qualifications

• Experience in multifamily property management or accounts receivable is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Collections management: actively track and minimize monthly bad debt to under 2%. Follow up on first payments, delinquent rents, and late fees.
• Account management: maintain resident ledgers and ensure accurate billing and collections of charges and deposits.
• Eviction and debt recovery: issue and process notices; coordinate filings with legal counsel; manage accounts sent to agencies.
• Financial move-out (FMO): review and approve move-outs and facilitate post move-out collections.
• Dispute resolution: address resident disputes and communicate outcomes clearly.
• Collaboration: work with onsite leasing, management, and finance teams to improve processes.
• Performance metrics: maintain bad debt below 2%; meet or exceed collections targets.
