Job summary

Prismhr Hire is seeking a dependable maintenance professional for a full-time role in an assisted living community in Clearwater, FL. You will perform repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance to keep the facility safe, comfortable, and well maintained for residents and staff.

The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance experience in healthcare or senior living, works independently, communicates clearly, and can handle multiple priorities while upholding safety and infection-control

Qualifications

• Healthcare or senior living environment preferred.
• Basic repair methods across multiple areas.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Must lift and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks throughout the facility, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and basic HVAC-related duties.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance issues and safety concerns.
• Complete preventive maintenance on equipment, systems, and fixtures according to schedule.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and address issues in a timely, courteous manner.
• Maintain safe, clean, and functional common areas, resident spaces, and exterior grounds as needed.
• Assist with furniture moves, room setup, and equipment installation or replacement.
• Monitor supplies and materials, and communicate inventory needs to the appropriate team member.
• Follow facility procedures related to safety, emergency response, and infection control.
• Document completed work, repairs, and recurring issues accurately.
• Coordinate with outside vendors or contractors when specialized service is required.
