Job summary

Lakewood Country Club in Naples, FL is seeking a Pro Shop Attendant to support reservations, check-in, inventory management, and golf-cart operations. You will interact with guests, explain course etiquette, and help maintain a clean, secure course environment.

Responsibilities

• Processing customer reservations for guests of the golf course
• Providing customer service to arriving guests to help expedite check-in
• Arranging and displaying golf shop inventory as necessary and directed
• Collecting green and cart fees from guests and processing in the POS system
• Assisting in maintaining a clean, safe workplace
• Assisting in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to daily register
• Ensuring property and its amenities are secured daily
• Assisting with setup of equipment and golf carts
• Welcoming and greeting guests and players in a friendly manner
• Explaining rules and course etiquette to all groups
• Washing and sanitizing golf cart fleet and maintaining storage areas
• Setting up and organizing golf carts and equipment for regular tee times or outings
• Facilitating orderly pace of play to prevent delays
• Recording starting times and golf cart numbers when necessary
• Ensuring each group has four players if possible
• Performing related duties as assigned by General Manager

General Description of Duties and Responsibilities

When acting as an "Inside" staff member

• Responsible for processing customer reservations for guests of the golf course
• Provides customer service to arriving guests to help expedite check-in process
• Arranges and displays golf shop inventory as necessary and directed
• Collects green and cart fees (and other revenue) from guests and processes in the POS system as trainer
• Assists in maintaining a clean, safe workplac
• Assists in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to daily register at the closing of the da
• Ensure property and it's amenities are secured dail
• Assist with set-up of equipment and golf cart

Perform related duties as assigned by General Manager

• When acting as an “Outside” staff membe
• Responsible for welcoming and greeting of guests and players in a friendly manner
• Explaining rules and course etiquette to all groups if needed
• Wash and sanitize golf cart fleet, maintain organized storage areas and practice facility
• Assist with the set-up and organization of the golf carts and equipment for any regular tee time starts or outing
• Facilitate orderly and timely pace of play of groups to prevent delay
• Answer all questions in a friendly manner. Keep a record of starting times and golf cart numbers for each group when necessary
• Ensure that each group has four players if possible
• Responsible for the picking up and cleaning practice balls when schedule
• Ensure property and it's amenities are secured daily
• Perform related duties as assigned by General Manager
