Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver in Columbia, SC. You will pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to professional customers and pick up returns.

You’ll promote current sales and loyalty programs, build relationships with key customers, and assist in upselling to increase average transaction value. You will maintain store cleanliness, stock inventory, and use delivery and inventory systems while engaging with walk-in customers to identify needs and recommend solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers and promote current sales and loyalty programs.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and upsell products.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and inventory readiness.
• Stock and manage back stock and cycle counts.
• Operate inventory systems and use store equipment as needed.
