Job summary

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build relationships with customers, peers and leadership
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs
• Use basic math accurately and work flexible shifts including weekends
• Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products
• Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers and provide CPP insights
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
