Job summary

Advance-Auto-Parts in Texas is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver automotive parts to pro customers and walk-in clients. You will also manage returns, assist with credit account collections and promote current sales and loyalty programs.

Maintain inventory knowledge, support upsell/cross-sell efforts, and keep the store tidy while stocking and organizing back stock. This role requires reliable navigation, customer service orientation, and willingness to work varied

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive or delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pickup returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
