Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Kyle, TX is seeking a delivery associate responsible for picking, staging and safely delivering parts to pro customers and maintaining a clean, organized store. You will engage with customers, promote loyalty programs and support upselling to increase transaction value.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, basic English proficiency, and a willingness to work varied days, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Speak/understand English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned
