Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a driver to safely pick and deliver parts to pro customers and to pick up returns and cores. The role includes promoting current sales, handling daily credit accounts, and building relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while enhancing store performance.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean facilities, stocking, assisting customers, and contributing to upselling efforts. A valid driver's license and high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP with insights learned during deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned
