Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, manage returns and cores, and promote current sales and loyalty programs. You will also collect credit accounts and build strong relationships with major pro customers.

The role emphasizes upselling, maintaining store cleanliness, stock management, and engaging customers to recommend parts and services. High school diploma is required, automotive knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Automotive parts knowledge preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
