Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is hiring a delivery driver to pick, stage and deliver parts for pro customers and manage returns, drives daily credit account collection, and promotes loyalty programs. The role emphasizes building relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers and upselling products to increase transaction value.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and English language skills (Spanish a plus).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking and back stock
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
