Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a driver to pick, stage and deliver parts to professional customers, while promoting current sales and loyalty programs. You will also handle returns, manage credit accounts and assist with upselling to increase transaction value.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and automotive parts experience. You will engage walk-in customers, maintain store cleanliness, and support stock and inventory tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
