Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to professional customers, while promoting sales and loyalty programs. You will also manage pickup of returns, assist with upselling, and maintain store cleanliness and inventory.

Strong driving skills and customer service orientation are essential in this role. The role involves regular interaction with customers, driving safely, navigating routes, and supporting store operations with stock and floor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights learned on deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
