Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, collect returns and cores, and promote current sales and loyalty programs.

You will engage with walk‑in customers, upsell and cross‑sell products, maintain store cleanliness, and work with inventory and credit accounts. A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are required, with flexible days and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
• Use basic math accurately and work flexible days, evenings and weekends
• Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products
• Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP with insights
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk‑in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
