Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a driver who will safely pick and deliver parts to pro customers, stock shelves, and engage with walk-in customers to advise on parts and services. You will maintain inventory accuracy, handle returns, and support sales through upselling while promoting current promotions and loyalty programs.

The ideal candidate communicates well in English, can read safety and operation manuals, and holds a valid license with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and parts catalogs.
• Use basic math accurately for transactions and measurements.
• Prior automotive parts experience is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores and drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers.
• Collect credit accounts daily and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, and parking lot.
• Stock inventory, back stock, and perform cycle counts.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
• Operate inventory systems and store equipment as needed.
