Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a professional Driver to pick, stage and deliver parts to pro customers in a fast-paced environment. You will also handle returns, stock control and store upkeep while engaging customers and promoting current specials.

Ideal candidates possess a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and strong English communication skills. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is preferred, with a focus on safety and accuracy in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Essential for Success as a Driver: Speak and write English; communicate effectively and build relationships.
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs.
• Use basic math accurately for varied units; work days, evenings, weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers; provide CPP insights.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
