Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a driver for our Manassas, VA location to deliver parts to pro customers and support store operations. You will pick up returns, distribute flyers, and collect credits while building relationships with major customers.

The role emphasizes safe driving, customer service, and knowledge of inventory systems. It requires English fluency, basic math, and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish is a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedures.
• Use basic math to perform unit conversions and calculations.
• Availability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers; provide CPP insights.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stocking; manage back stock and cycle counts.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
