Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. in Whiteville, NC is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, collect returns and cores, and drop off weekly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.

You will build relationships with customers, upsell where appropriate, maintain store cleanliness, stock shelves and assist with inventory. The role requires a valid driver's license, basic math, English communication, and the ability to work days,

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; communicate effectively with customers, peers and leadership.
• Read and interpret safety rules, instructions, catalogs and manuals.
• Use basic math accurately and handle various units; flexible to work days/evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
