Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Salisbury, NC is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver automotive parts to pro customers and support returns and daily credit account collections.

You will promote current sales and loyalty programs, upsell and cross-sell products, and maintain inventory knowledge while building strong customer relationships. Must have a valid driver’s license and read English; physical effort may require lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb regularly and up to 100 lb with assistance; capable of repetitive movement.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers and provide insights.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
