Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to pro customers and walk-in shoppers. You will promote current sales and loyalty programs while maintaining accurate credit accounts and strong relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.

The role emphasizes safety, knowledge of inventory, upselling opportunities, and maintaining a clean store environment. A valid driver's license and high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong English reading/writing and customer-facing communication.
• Ability to learn product inventory and upsell/cross-sell.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing insights learned from deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned
