Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, pick up returns and cores, and drop off weekly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.

You will also handle daily collection of credit accounts, build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, assist in upselling and cross-selling to raise average transaction value, and maintain a clean, stocked store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Distribute weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
