Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. in Longwood, FL is seeking a Delivery Associate to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, pick up returns and cores, and distribute weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.

You will also collect credit accounts daily, maintain inventory knowledge, upsell and cross-sell products to increase average transaction value, keep the store clean, and assist walk-in customers with parts recommendations.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals.
• Ability to perform basic math and accurately handle transactions and credit accounts.
• Good communication and customer service skills to upsell and assist customers.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking and back stock
