Job summary

Advance Auto Parts seeks an experienced delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers while maintaining strong customer relationships. You will also handle returns, distribute on-site flyers, collect dues, and support upselling efforts to boost average ticket value.

Qualifications

• Safe driving and navigation ability to deliver parts safely to customers.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and parts catalogs.
• Read and interpret documents such as maintenance instructions and manuals.
• Use basic math for transactions and inventory counts.
• Willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques.
• Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock as directed.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
• Operate inventory systems and store equipment.
