Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a customer-focused Delivery Driver to pick, stage, and safely deliver auto parts to pro customers, handle returns, and assist with weekly sales flyers and loyalty programs.

You will build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, upsell and cross-sell products, maintain store cleanliness, stock inventory, and support other duties as assigned. Must have a valid driver\'s license and able to lift up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals and parts catalogs.
• Basic math and cash handling skills helpful.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, and deliver parts to pro customers safely and efficiently.
• Pick up returns and cores; drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers; promote current sales and loyalty programs.
• Collect on credit accounts daily and maintain customer relationships.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock inventory; perform cycle counts.
• Assist walk-in customers and recommend parts or services.
• Work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends.
